Your New Role

Based out of Eagle Farm (QLD), you’ll be responsible for the safe delivery and installation of medical and sensitive equipment including:

• Electric beds
• Chairs
• Mattresses
• Healthcare furniture

This role goes beyond driving - you’ll be the face of the business onsite, delivering “white glove” service and ensuring equipment is assembled, placed and operational to customer requirements .

You’ll handle everything from daily local runs to large remote facility fit-outs and regional projects .

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a maximum-size HR truck (extensive experience required)
• Plan delivery routes with consistency and efficiency 
• Conduct daily pre-starts and maintain a safe driving record
• Load, secure, and transport sensitive medical equipment to prevent damage
• Unload using appropriate mechanical aids (tailgate lifter, pallet jack, etc.)
• Assemble, install, position, and test equipment onsite (70% of the role). 
• Remove packaging and old equipment when required
• Complete all paperwork including logbooks and customer sign-offs
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues onsite, and build rapport
• Assist in the warehouse when required

Travel Requirements

• Ability to stay away from home for up to one week at a time
• Minimum 1 week per month involving regional and remote project work

What You’ll Need

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience driving HR (or larger) category trucks 
• Proven experience delivering and installing medical or sensitive equipment 
• Client management experience - resolving client concerns with empathy and backed by a foundation of trust and quality outcomes. 
• Strong knowledge of WHS and safe manual handling procedures
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

Essential Qualifications

• Valid HR Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence (LF)
• Police Check (must be current - or ability to obtain)
• Competent and efficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Influenza vaccination (or open to getting)

Desirable but not essential

• NDIS Worker Screening & Blue Card
• COVID vaccination (including booster)
• NetSuite Oracle Training (ERP)

• Physically fit and capable of heavy manual handling
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills
• Able to represent the company as a true brand ambassador
